I would seriously appreciate some assistance here.. as I have been having some real trouble with my stomach. It first began out with a hamburger that I ate nearly a year and half ago. I had mild diarrhea right after that and my stomach/eating habits have never the exact same again. Though the diarrhea subsided after couple of two days, new symptoms on the other hand arose. This included frequent bloating, indigestion, pain, abdominal gas etc.. I was tested for parasites but every thing was reported negative. So doctors dismissed as a case of an irritable bowel. But after a couple months my symptoms got worse. I started expereincing diarrrhea on a quite frequent basis (3-4*) along with nausea, fatigue, ab. pain, gas. After visiting a gastroenterologist who conducted a colonscopy and barium tests, it was concluded that there was a slight inflamation. But nothing that would trigger the symptoms I was having. I was put on Asacol for a period of 2 weeks but the pain and diarrhea persisted. Out of sheer desparation, I visited a homeopathic, who gave me specific medication and told me remain off citrus foods and wheat. That did yield some positive result as the diarrhea subsided to 1-2times a day with no pain. However since then the difficulties have remained but to a lesser degree. I ended up seeing a doc that specializes in alternative medicine as well. He conducted a RAST test and discovered that I had massive food allergies/ food intolerance that was causing all of the symptoms. So I have been on food elimination diet for the last 2 months with minimal results. Though remaining on a strict diet does assist the diarrhea(it gets worse if I have no sleep or need to wake up early) but all other symptoms persist. Such as indigestion, bloating, gas, sweating, fatigue, nausea within the mornings, weak legs, weight loss etc. And I still dont realize whats wrong? Is it colitis/crohns/candida/irritabe bowel/food allergies.(Presently I am on no medication) So to dismiss my confusion and symptoms, if anybody has any suggestions or solutions, it'll be of fantastic help. TIA Bobby
